We are happy to announce that an agreement has been reached between us, here at Norganna's AddOns, and the folks at WoWInterface and WoWHead, who will provide much of the Gatherer node data for the GathererDB.

Basically, WoWHead, http://WoWHead.Com, will provide the World of Warcraft treasure, mining, and herbalism node locations, we will extract the data we need and include it in an updated GathererDB, and then the AddOn will be available at WoWInterface, http://WoWInterface.Com .

Just an update to let everyone know that we are waiting on our data partner, WoWHead, to provide us with their portion of the WotLK item data.

Once we have the database, the information will be imported, and updates will be posted.

To help the process along, feel free to help contribute by running the WoWHead updater after a day of discovering Northrend.

- GATH-67: added support for Northrend Herbs and Ores. Still missing some non-English locales.

As of yet, I have been unable to get any information regarding the names of the new Ore and Herb nodes that are found in Northrend. This is a general call for that information. If you can provide translations for any game locale for these nodes (or any others that appear on the list of missing translations) please post them to this thread along with the English equivalent, and I will attempt to add them as soon as possible.

Version 3.1.7 is quick bug fix release to address a problem that could occur during the map change updates when you have the Gatherer_DB wowhead database installed.

Due to some disk space issues, we need to briefly shut down the servers for, what we hope will be, less than a half hour.

If you try to access one of the sites, and cannot connect, simply check back in about a half hour.

We will be releasing Gatherer 3.1.4 shortly; that is fully compatible with World of Warcraft 3.0.

[b]Please note that you *must* upgrade due to changes in the size of EPL and Stormwind.
If you attempt to gather a node prior to updating, your entire database can become corrupt and the only recourse will be to restore from a backup.[/b]

The upload will be available shortly from our site, WoWInterface, and Curse.
